This creamy pistachio butter is rich, naturally sweet, and incredibly easy to make at home using just a few ingredients.
2 cups shelled pistachios
1–2 tsp avocado oil (optional)
1/4 tsp sea salt (optional)
1 tsp maple syrup (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Roast pistachios for 6–8 minutes, then cool.
3. Add pistachios to a food processor and blend until creamy.
4. Scrape down sides as needed.
5. Add oil, salt, or sweetener if desired.
6. Blend until smooth, about 8–10 minutes.
7. Transfer to jar and store.
Store in an airtight glass jar.
Refrigerate for longer shelf life (up to 4 weeks).
Stir well before each use as oils naturally separate.
