- 1 cup fresh lemon balm leaves (or 2 tsp dried)
- 2 lemon slices
- ½ inch fresh ginger (sliced)
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar (optional)
- 2 cups hot water
- Dash of cinnamon or cayenne (optional)
Instructions
- Place lemon balm, lemon, and ginger into a teapot or large mug.
- Pour hot (not boiling) water over the ingredients.
- Cover and steep for 10–15 minutes.
- Strain and stir in apple cider vinegar and cinnamon or cayenne if using.
- Sip warm in the morning or cool and refrigerate for detox water.
