This Ginger Turmeric Shot is a powerful wellness drink that combines fresh roots, lemon, and black pepper to support immunity, reduce inflammation, and energize your mornings.
Ingredients
2 inches fresh ginger root
2 inches fresh turmeric root
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp raw honey (optional)
Pinch of black pepper
Filtered water as needed
Instructions
1. Peel and roughly chop the ginger and turmeric.
2. Add to a blender with lemon juice and water; blend until smooth.
3. Strain using a fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag.
4. Stir in honey and black pepper.
5. Pour into glass shot bottles and refrigerate.
Notes
For a stronger Ginger Turmeric Shot, add cayenne pepper.
Wear gloves when handling turmeric to prevent stains.
You can freeze portions in ice cube trays for convenience.
