Description
A soothing herbal tea made from fresh or dried dandelion parts. Known for its detoxifying and digestion-friendly properties.
Ingredients
1 tbsp fresh dandelion flowers (or 1 tsp dried)
1 tsp dried dandelion leaves (optional)
1 tsp roasted dandelion root (optional)
8–10 oz filtered water
Lemon slice (optional)
Raw honey (optional)
Instructions
1. Rinse dandelion parts thoroughly under cool water.
2. Boil filtered water to a rolling boil.
3. Place dandelion ingredients in a teapot or infuser.
4. Pour hot water over herbs and steep for 10–15 minutes.
5. Strain the tea into a cup.
6. Add lemon or honey if desired.
7. Serve hot or chill for iced tea.
Notes
Use pesticide-free dandelions only.
Start with small servings to assess tolerance.
Store brewed tea in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
